Understanding the Specifications

The Vanguard Terra Firma Cushion Vinyl comes with a thickness and total weight of 2.8mm and 1600g/m2 respectively, indicating its robust nature. The R10 slip resistance rating ensures a confident grip underfoot, reducing the risk of slips and falls, particularly in areas prone to spills. The 0.2mm wear layer is designed to withstand years of abrasion, further enhancing its longevity.

With a roll length of 30.00m, this flooring solution is suitable for covering large areas without the need for frequent joins. Its sound insulation rating of 18dB contributes to a quieter and more peaceful home environment.

Where it Excels and Where it Doesn’t

Rated as 22 – Medium Domestic for performance durability, the Vanguard Terra Firma Cushion Vinyl is an ideal choice for areas in your home that experience moderate foot traffic. Its slip-resistant nature makes it particularly suitable for kitchens and bathrooms. However, for areas with heavy foot traffic or commercial spaces, a flooring solution with a higher durability rating might be more appropriate.

While this cushion vinyl flooring is easy to maintain, it might not be the softest option underfoot compared to other flooring types such as carpets.

The Vanguard Terra Firma Cushion Vinyl is designed for hassle-free maintenance. Its surface can be easily wiped clean, ensuring the flooring remains hygienic and visually appealing with minimal effort. Over time, this flooring solution retains its aesthetic appeal, thanks to its durable material and wear layer.
