Gradus SI100/50/2P Set-In Skirting 2m: The Specialist Solution for Critical Clean Areas

At 2mm thick, the Gradus SI100/50/2P Set-In Skirting is more than a mere boundary between your floor and wall. This PVC skirting, available in a sleek black finish, is a critical component in maintaining the hygiene and cleanliness of spaces like hospital treatment rooms. Its thickness ensures durability, while its design allows for a seamless finish, enhancing the aesthetics of your space.

Designed for hot and cold welding applications, this skirting provides an impervious seal when welded to the floorcovering, eliminating any gaps that could harbour dirt or bacteria. It’s a solution that marries practicality with aesthetics, offering a clean, professional finish.

Understanding the Specification: A Closer Look at the Gradus SI100/50/2P Set-In Skirting

The 2mm thickness of the Gradus SI100/50/2P Set-In Skirting is not a random figure. It’s a carefully chosen specification that guarantees durability and a seamless finish. This thickness ensures that the skirting can withstand heavy use, while its PVC material makes it resistant to wear and tear. The result is a long-lasting, reliable solution for your critical clean areas.

Moreover, this skirting is suitable for both hot and cold welding applications. This versatility means that it can be installed using a variety of tools and techniques, making it a flexible solution for your flooring needs.

Where the Gradus SI100/50/2P Set-In Skirting Excels and Where It Doesn’t

This skirting is a specialist solution designed for critical clean areas like hospital treatment rooms. Its impervious seal and seamless finish make it an ideal choice for environments where cleanliness and hygiene are paramount. However, it may not be the best choice for areas where aesthetics take precedence over functionality, or where welding applications are not feasible.

It’s also worth noting that while the skirting is durable, it’s not indestructible. In high-traffic areas or spaces with heavy machinery, a thicker skirting may be more suitable.

Maintaining Your Gradus SI100/50/2P Set-In Skirting

One of the key benefits of the Gradus SI100/50/2P Set-In Skirting is its ease of maintenance. Its PVC material is easy to clean, ensuring that your critical clean areas remain spotless. Over time, the skirting retains its sleek black finish, maintaining the aesthetics of your space.

However, care should be taken during installation. Precise welding techniques are required to ensure an impervious seal and a seamless finish. But don’t worry, we’re here to help with expert guidance and support throughout the delivery process.
