Gradus SI100/50/2 Set-In Skirting: The Hygienic Flooring Solution for Critical Clean Areas

Imagine a space where cleanliness is paramount. A hospital treatment room, perhaps, where the floor must endure constant traffic, rigorous cleaning, and stringent hygiene standards. Or a laboratory, where precision and purity are non-negotiable. In such spaces, every detail matters, right down to the skirting. Enter the Gradus SI100/50/2 Set-In Skirting 2m, a specialised skirting solution designed to meet the demands of critical clean areas.

Available in a range of colours including Black, Brown, Dove, and Granite, this PVC skirting is not just functional but also aesthetically pleasing, contributing to a professional and harmonious environment.

Specification and Performance: A Closer Look

The Gradus SI100/50/2 Set-In Skirting is crafted from durable 2mm thick PVC, a material known for its resilience and longevity. But it’s not just about durability. This skirting is designed for hot and cold welding, creating an impervious seal when welded to the floorcovering. This means no dirt or bacteria can penetrate the seal, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.

Moreover, the seamless finish of this skirting enhances the overall look of the space, contributing to a clean and professional environment.

Where it Excels and Where it Doesn’t

The Gradus SI100/50/2 Set-In Skirting is a champion in critical clean areas such as hospital treatment rooms, laboratories, and food processing plants. These are spaces where hygiene is paramount and the flooring solution must be able to withstand rigorous cleaning routines.

However, this skirting may not be the best choice for areas that require a softer or more decorative touch, such as residential living spaces or boutique retail outlets. It’s all about choosing the right product for the right environment.

Maintaining the Gradus SI100/50/2 Set-In Skirting

One of the key advantages of this skirting solution is its ease of maintenance. Thanks to its durable PVC material and impervious seal, it requires minimal upkeep. Regular cleaning with standard cleaning agents is all it takes to keep it looking and performing its best. Over time, it retains its professional appearance, contributing to a clean and hygienic environment.
